Huts for Vets

For years Arizona State University student veterans have participated in a retreat in the Colorado Rockies called Huts for Vets, communing with nature and experiencing a perspective shift to more fully re-enter civilian life. Now ASU’s Office for Veteran and Military Academic Engagement is adopting that model for its veteran population, swapping the mountainous Rockies for Arizona’s high country. They are calling it Arizona Warriors’ Wilderness Journey.

PTVC Celebrates Its 10-Year Anniversary

The PTVC celebrated its tenth year serving veteran students and families at ASU. With five locations across all of ASU campuses — the center assists students with their veteran education benefits and fosters a community for military personnel to gather and find support

Ten years ago, a small but dedicated group of individuals prioritized student veteran success at ASU The PTVC started as a single row of cubicles and now spans the university campuses with five total locations. Hear from the team that helped make it all happen.
