Veteran and Military Advocacy Training
We welcome all ASU community members to request a Veteran and Military Advocacy Training session.
The vision of Veteran and Military Advocacy Training is to provide staff and faculty across the university with a veteran- and military-focused education session that helps them better understand and connect with the culture from which the student veteran comes.
Faculty and staff who regularly assist student veterans realize this is a unique population at the university. Veteran and Military Advocacy Training was developed to provide valuable specialized training to faculty and staff, bridging the culture gap and improving their effectiveness with their student veterans’ struggles.
