The Thoughts In Your Mind.
The GI Bill benefit is an extremely generous benefit and, if used properly, can really put you in a great position to get the credential you need to be competitive for that higher paying job which leads to more financial security—both short and long term—as well as provide you upward mobility within the economy to keep growing well past earning your degree.
As you think through your collegiate pathway, some of these thoughts might be entering your mind:

I'm not sure what I want to do just yet, so I think I’m going to enter college to help me "figure out" my transition that I have not thought completely through yet
I'm not sure what degree to get or how this degree will serve me.
Can I do this? I'm the first person in my immediate family who could earn a college degree.
Should I get an associates degree?
Should I consider trade school? I don't know how well I’ll do in this collegiate environment since I’m older and have different experiences
