RSVP for Arizona Fall League game night

The Pat Tillman Veterans Center is hosting an Arizona Fall League baseball game at the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are free, and family and friends are welcome to attend. Veterans center Director Steve Borden will be throwing the first pitch, and Senior Military Advocate Shawn Banzhaf will be singing the national anthem. Don’t miss out on this fun and family-friendly community event! RSVP now.

 

Graduation application deadline extended

Due to a system outage over the weekend, the application for graduation deadline has been extended to Friday, Oct. 4. Remember, if you apply after the deadline, you will have to pay a late fee. If you plan to graduate in December, apply as soon as possible if you haven’t already.

 

Save the date: Veterans Honor Stole Ceremony

We are proud of our graduating student veterans for all of their hard work and success. If you are graduating in December, be sure to register for the Veterans Honor Stole Ceremony once registration opens. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. in the Student Pavilion on the Tempe campus. You'll receive a special honor stole to wear with your cap and gown at all convocation and commencement ceremonies. For more information, check the FAQ page.

 

Save the date: Diving Devil Dogs

The Diving Devil Dogs scuba event in September was such a success, they are returning by popular demand. If you are interested in participating or learning more, email militaryadvocate@asu.edu. More information coming soon.

 

Interview and resume prep events

First impressions are everything. If you’re looking to gain interview experience, join ASU’s Career and Professional Development Services to practice your interview skills in a lightning interview setting with top employers. Get insight and feedback from professionals and other veterans who have successfully transitioned into civilian work. There will be three events, from Monday, Nov. 4 through Wednesday, Nov. 6.
