Veterans Honor Stole Ceremony

Congratulations to all student veterans who are graduating in May. All of us at the Pat Tillman Veterans Center are proud of you and confident you will continue your success in your new careers with the spirit of service and leadership. We hope to see you at the Veterans Honor Stole Ceremony this Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Arena. You have a lot to be proud of, and we are excited for the opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments by presenting you with a veterans honor stole.

Apply for Venture Vets

Venture Vets, part of the Venture Devils program, invites student veterans, dependents and military students to try turning their entrepreneurial ideas into a reality. Venture Devils provides funding opportunities, mentorship and workspaces. The summer 2019 application deadline is Monday, May 13. Healing of Memories workshop

The Healing of Memories for Veterans program is a three-day overnight workshop created by Rev. Father Michael Lapsley, SSM as a way to help victims of emotional, psychological and spiritual wounds. More than 250 veterans in Arizona have attended the program and found it to be a major step in their healing process. This workshop is free for all service members and veterans, including meals and two nights of lodging.

The program will be held at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, May 17–19. It begins with a dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 17, and ends at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 19.
