A panel of military leaders will discuss particular technological threats and evolving challenges to U.S. national security and our alliance system — but also the broader challenge of maintaining awareness among both elites and average citizens, nearly two decades after the 9/11 attacks, of the need for vigilant attention to American national security strategy and the resources needed to accomplish its main objectives.

Panel Discussion 2: “Why We Serve”

Time: 1:15–2:15 p.m.

Panelists: Arizona military senior enlisted advisers

Moderator: Brett Hunt, executive director, ASU Public Service Academy

Arizona military senior enlisted advisers will define the nature of what it means to serve in the military today, and why that service and sacrifice matters to our nation at this pivotal moment in our country’s history.
